Dr Yaacob Ibrahim, Minister for the Environment and Water Resources, visited the Energy Efficient Products Information Center at Hong Tar's store in IMM Building on 25 May 2005.
He was briefed on the EEPIC by SEC and the store's owner and learnt how shoppers have been finding the information provided by the EEPIC on the energy efficient appliances very useful.
