Selection

  • Choose the right capacity.
    • Oversized compressors cut in and out too often and more current would be drawn.
    • Undersized compressors run continuously, resulting in higher running cost.

  • Of the two types of indoor units i.e. cassette ceiling and wall mounted , wall mounted type is sufficient for a typical household.

Installation

  • Avoid placing in direct sunlight ƒ.
  • Placing the indoor unit too high will result in more area to be cooled .

  • Keep the air inlet and outlet clear of any obstacles to ensure proper airflow.

Operation and Maintenance

  • Close all windows and doors when the air-conditioning is turned on.
  • Avoid frequent on and off.
  • Clean air filters regularly .
  • Maintain the indoor unit regularly to prevent dirt build-up, which could affect its cooling performance.
