Launch of Climate Change Awareness Programme
28 Aug 2006

Did you see the eye-catching “Everyday Superhero” posters around the ENV Building? The posters were a prelude to the launch of the Climate Change Awareness Programme (CCAP) on Earth Day at the Atrium@Orchard.

Launched by Minister (MEWR), the CCAP is being spearheaded by the Singapore Environment Council and supported by Climate Change Organisation and NEA. The programme aims to raise awareness among households / motorists on:

  • the basic principals of climate change,
  • simple/painless habits that can save energy, save money and reduce greenhouse gas emissions,
  • thinking about reducing energy use on a daily basis.

The CCAP is a year-long programme, so do look forward to more activities related to climate change and what you can do to help the environment.
